Bodovino is opening a second Treasure Valley location on Saturday, Aug. 27, and the food menu will be noticeably larger than its wine-bar concept at 404 S. 8th St. in Boise. The new Bodovino Ristorante will be in Fountain Square at The Village at Meridian, situated in the former Cacicia's Cucinas Old World Sicilian Foods space, 3630 E. Monarch Sky Lane. It will offer a full-blown Italian menu.
Antipasti offerings include cauliflower crocchettes (baked cauliflower cakes with aged parmesan and herbs), roasted eggplant caponata on crostini and erbazzone (baked puff pastry with aged parmesan, pancetta and greens).
