Think one week isn't nearly enough time to take in a country with as much beauty and history as Italy? If you plan your trip carefully, you can actually see a great deal of Italy's splendor in just seven days. My husband and I recently spent a week touring Venice, Florence, and Rome. We even managed to squeeze in a day at the beach, a much-needed escape after all of the sightseeing we packed in to such a short trip.
In the weeks leading up to our trip, I spent quite a few evenings in front of the computer researching museum tickets and transportation options. I even lured a few friends who had visited Italy in the past into coffee dates so I could get the lowdown on some must-see spots and authentic Italian eateries. So pack your bags and hop aboard this whirlwind tour of beautiful Italia.
