Invitalia Ventures and Enel Green Power have closed a 2,250 €/ML co-investment round in 40South Energy Italy, the company that produces energy from the ocean waves thanks to a patented and scalable technology with high average capacity, low environmental and zero visual impact.
The company has been established in 2007 by Michele Grassi with the aim to develop a disruptive technology in renewable energy. It has designed two wave energy converters associated to a common powertrain, which can transform the energy from ocean waves.
