No, suger cane is not our strong point. Italy exported just €432 of sugar cane abroad last year, who knows how. Our strong points are elsewhere, even if a look at the leading Made in Italy exports can be surprising.


Not that fashion, design and food are not important to our economy, but actually Italy sells more macchanical goods overseas than it does designer suits.
