Capo Figari and Figarolo, open air museum in the Golfo Aranci

By: Noemi Curti

In Gallura, a few kilometers from Olbia and Golfo Aranci, at the north-eastern end of Sardinia the promontory of Capo Figari and the nearby islet of Figarolo offer a magnificent example of marine natural museum.

Capo Figari is a natural oasis that has no equal and offers a unique landscape of biodiversity, the ideal destination for those who love hiking but also diving, horseback riding, cycling or walking.  The islet of Figarolo and the beach of Cala Moresca, a jewel set in a small bay in the shade of a green pine forest, are just two of the wonders of the place.
