Dolce&Gabbana will cease using animal fur in its collections, the Italian fashion house announced on Monday. “Dolce&Gabbana has chosen to discontinue the use of animal fur in all its Collections starting in 2022,” the fashion house wrote on Twitter.
Dolce&Gabbana said it is working with master furriers to create “eco-fur garments and accessories, a sustainable faux fur alternative that uses recycled and recyclable materials,” which will take the place of its traditional fur fashions.
