After "The Great Beauty" won the Academy Award as best foreign language film last year, in 2015 the only Italian nominee has been costume designer Milena Canonero, for her work in "The Grand Budapest Hotel" by Wes Anderson.
If she succeeds, Canonero will bring home her fourth Oscar, after that won for Stanley Kubrick's "Barry Lyndon," for "Chariots of Fire" by Hugh Hudson and for "Marie Antoinette" by Sophia Coppola.
