Singer-songwriter Eros Ramazzotti, a popular figure in the Latin-music world, has rescheduled his U.S. concert tour, which he was forced to postpone following surgery on his vocal cords. The U.S. leg of the tour will now begin in 2020. The dates first appeared on Ticketmaster on Friday, June 28. "I must stop and rehabilitate for two months," the Italian singer said in an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 7. "I'm sorry for my fans all over ... America. I will make up all next year."
Ramazzotti launched the tour in February in Europe. The run of shows in the Americas was scheduled to kick off with a concert in Guadalajara on May 14. The U.S. portion of the tour included stops at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (May 21) and Radio City Music Hall in New York (June 18). In Mexico City, he was slated to perform at the prestigious Auditorio Nacional (May 16).
