In honor of 540 years after the birth of Ludovico Ariosto, the Valtellina celebrates the poet with the expository cycle Orlando Furioso in the Valtellina, Told in Frescoes.
A unique legacy in its genre, the exposition is an historical journey through words and images, in three fresco cycles dating to the second half of the 1500s. Also in the Renaissance monuments Palazzo Besta in Taglio, Castel Masegra in Sondrio, and Palazzo Valenti in Talamona, Ariosto's famous poem is depicted in several significant expressions.
