The Zuegg family-owned business is increasingly more active in agriculture, involving small enterprises and young Italian farmers in its production of jams, juices and semi-processed goods for the food industry.
"We will turn Southern Italy into the biggest orchard in the Mediterranean, bringing back native varieties, as wine makers have done with ancient vine varieties, like the rediscovery of Aglianico in Irpinia," explains Oswald Zuegg, president and CEO of Zuegg.
