In Maranello today, Ferrari Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that the Italian automaker will build one final example of the LaFerrari. The car will be auctioned, and the proceeds will go toward helping the victims of the earthquake that rocked central Italy on August 24th.
The LaFerrari is the most expensive, highest-performing street vehicle the exotic automaker has ever built. Production of the hybrid, 949-hp hypercar was limited to 499 examples, each with a price tag of $1.3 million.
