Andretti Cadillac's entry into Formula 1, supported by General Motors, will debut with power units and gearboxes supplied by Ferrari from 2026, as officially confirmed by the Maranello-based company through a multi-year agreement.
Just under a month ago, on Nov. 25, it was announced, still tentatively, the entry of an eleventh team into Formula 1 from 2026: Andretti Cadillac, run by the General Motors group with Mario Andretti also participating on the board. General Motors will become a motorist for the star-studded team from 2028.
In the meantime, however, the supply of power units and gearboxes for the first seasons, starting in 2026, remained uncovered. The search for a supplier had already begun several weeks ago, and today came the official announcement: Ferrari will be Andretti Cadillac's technical partner. The agreement strengthens the bond between two motorsport giants, laying the groundwork for a competitive debut of the Andretti Cadillac team in F1 from 2026 onward.
