Milan mayor thanks Armani for helping Coronavirus-hit city. Giorgio Armani, the legendary Italian fashion designer, has moved the location of his next show from Paris to Milan to help the local economy recover from the covid-19 crisis, reports news agency ANSA.
Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala expressed his gratitude to Armani who has already played a major role in providing funds to fight the coronavirus pandemic in his home city. The Milan-born designer recently donated about €2 million to help in Italy's coronavirus emergency and converted production at his Italian factories to manufacture medical overalls.
