The archive fashions sported by Adam Driver and Lady Gaga in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci are very cool (turtlenecks, furry hats, excessive gold jewellery and even a red leather catsuit for Gaga's ‘Black Widow’ Patrizia Reggiani, see image below) – but the locations are as every bit as covetable.

The film spans three decades leading up to the 1995 murder of Maurizio Gucci – the last member of the family dynasty to run the luxury brand. A notable scene-stealer is the couple’s waterfront retreat, the 16th-century Villa Balbiano on Lake Como (revamped by Hotel Costes designer Jacques Garcia and, for those keen to get a piece of the action, available to rent for £124,000 a week). Maurizio and Patrizia’s wedding takes place in Santa Maria church in Portico, and several scenes were shot on Rome’s label-fluttering via Condotti.
