Cecilia Tessieri has the face of a Madonna by Raphael, the brain of a businesswoman and a great passion: chocolate. She's the only woman in the world to have been awarded the title of Master Chocolatier, and her chocolate has received six Golden Bean Awards, the Oscar for this sector, from the Academy of Chocolate for excellence from "the bean to the bar."
Tessieri founded Amedei in 1990, giving the company the name of her maternal grandmother, with the goal of creating an Italian excellence unrivaled in the world. To reach this goal, she spent seven years of study, research and apprenticeship in France, Belgium and Germany and travelled to cocoa-producing countries.
