In Rome an exhibition explores the links between made in Italy fashion, nature and food

Giorgio Armani, in his latest collection Privé, has been inspired by bamboo, delicate plant and robust at the same time. Etro has interpreted the motto "We are what we eat" using pasta and raw seafood shapes on its beautiful prints. And maison Gattinoni has dedicated an entire haute couture collection to food.


These are some of the 160 fashion creations on exhibit in "L'eleganza del cibo. Tales about food and fashion," a show that will open on Tuesday, 19th May, at Mercati di Traiano in Rome. A stunning location for a show that explores the connection between nature and nutrition, the key theme of Expo Milano 2015, with fashion and made in Italy creativity.
