As first reported by Motor1 Italy, Alfa Romeo CEO Jean Philippe Imparato remarked at a press event at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese (most likely the March 10th ALFA WOMEN conference) on the future of the Giulia sports sedan, "What we designed is a bomb, we couldn't finalize the style of this car without being absolutely in love with it. And now we are!" But the real bomb is this: The next-generation 2026 Giulia will share its platform with the new 2024 Dodge Charger.
Stellantis is a wide umbrella, covering brands as diverse as RAM, Opel, Jeep, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Chrysler, and of course, Dodge and Alfa Romeo. So, a Charger/Alfa crossover isn't as odd as it seems on the surface. In fact, it's already been done. The Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet share a powertrain, equipment, body panels, and many components.
