Italy is renowned for its iconic destinations, from the historic streets of Rome to the romantic canals of Venice. However, hidden away in the Southern Tuscan region lies a gem often overlooked by mainstream tourists. Monte Argentario, a small, rugged peninsula, is where tourists including high-profile visitors come to escape the limelight and enjoy a slice of unspoiled paradise.
The Amalfi Coast is truly stunning, with so many things to do, but it's also known for being a pricey luxury destination. Fortunately, there are Italian cities just as beautiful but more affordable than the Amalfi Coast. For a more affordable trip, try the beautiful town of Monte Argentario instead.
