Every year the Italian Ministry of Culture, through the General Directorate of Libraries and Copyright, awards the National Translation Awards to Italian and foreign translators and publishers who have contributed to the diffusion of Italian culture abroad and of foreign culture in our country.
The Awards acknowledges the cultural and professional value of the activities carried out in the fields of translation and publishing. The Italian Ministry of Culture awards eight prizes, divided into 4 major prizes and 4 special prizes. For the year 2024, applications for participation must be sent online via the appropriate application accessible from March 11 – 12.00 pm (local time) to April 12 – 12.00 pm (local time) here.
