Italy has decided to eliminate its ‘Covid-tested’ protocol for arrivals from the United States, a month after travel from the US was approved on these types of flights. The upcoming flights will now only have to follow the standard requirements when entering the country.
The Government’s new measures for US travellers entered into force on June 21, only three days after the European Union added the United Stated to the white list of countries due to low infections and rapid vaccination rates. In line with the EU’s recommendation, European Union Member States now are allowed to lift their travel restrictions for vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans.
