Antalya Sports Hall welcomes the 2023 European Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics this week. On the programme today, the men’s qualification rounds which also determine the team ranking. In an action packed last subdivision, Italy, Great Britain, Switzerland and the host nation Türkiye battled it out until the last routine for a place on the podium.

Türkiye went all out on rings to move into the temporarily take the lead, only to be outscored by Italy’s consistent floor performance. Yumin Abbadini, Lorenzo Minh Casali, Matteo Levantesi, Marco Lodadio and Mario Macchiati write history … this is the first senior men’s team title for Italy!
