The Italian market of musical instruments grew by 10% in 2015, reaching €290.8 million, according to trade group Dismamusica. And the boom isn't over yet, considering that in the first quarter of 2016 sales marked a further growth by 4.87%.
Another comforting fact: 2015 was the second year in a row registering an increase, after the +3.6% performance of 2014. And those were the first 12 months characterized by a positive trend after 6 years of losses, starting from 2009 when the production and distribution of musical instruments used to move no less than €404.7 million.
