With the arrival of February, the countdown to the Festival has officially begun but the surprises are not over yet. Indeed. Amadeus keeps making new announcements about the upcoming edition. And the latest news concerns John Travolta himself: the movie star will be the host of Sanremo 2024 on the second night, Wednesday, February 7.
The artistic director's announcement came on Tg1 and re-launched on social media: "An actor who has made entire generations dance will be with us," said Amadeus, comfortably seated between the Ariston seats while miming John Travolta's most famous ballets. And his words have already gone around the web.
John Travolta's is a return to Italy's most famous stage. The actor, who will turn 80 on February 18, has already been a guest at the Festival in 2006, in the edition hosted by Giorgio Panariello accompanied by Ilary Blasi and Victoria Cabello as vallettes. Then it was Cabello himself who interviewed the star of Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Pulp Fiction.
