La Sapienza University of Rome once again confirms its global excellence in classical studies. For the fifth consecutive year, the Roman university ranks first in the "Classics and Ancient History" category, according to the 2025 edition of the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject, with an outstanding score of 99.1.

The report analyzes 55 academic disciplines divided into five broad thematic areas. In addition to Sapienza's leadership, the Polytechnic University of Milan achieves excellent positions in the upper part of the ranking for Architecture, Design, and then Civil, Mechanical, and Technology Engineering.
