The annual awards show didn’t physically take place this year, and was in fact the first-ever EMAs to be cancelled due to “the volatility of world events”. Nonetheless, the winners were still revealed yesterday, November 05, and Måneskin have taken home the awards for Best Rock and Best Italian Act.
It tops off what’s been a pretty special year for the band, who released their ‘Rush!’ album at the start of the year before heading out on a mammoth world tour in support of it. They also played to a sold-out Madison Square Garden in September.
