Since December 19, in Mantua, it has been possible to climb the dome of the Basilica of St. Andrew, the Renaissance masterpiece by Leon Battista Alberti: this new itinerary, which combines spirituality and culture, represents one of the most relevant interventions put in place by the Diocese of Mantua for the Jubilee of 2025.

The basilica, the religious heart of the city and an important stop on pilgrimages to Rome, is thus enriched with a unique experience for Mantuans, visitors and pilgrims, with a careful eye on safety and accessibility. The path up to the dome is designed to take visitors on a symbolic ascending journey.
