The fashion world and Gucci in particular take another step in supporting the preservation of important Italian works of art. The luxury brand announced Tuesday in Rome that it will lead the sponsorship of the exhibition "Prince of Dreams: The Medici's Joseph Tapestries by Pontormo and Bronzino."
Gucci is not the only Italian company or brand engaged in the support of the country's artistic and cultural heritage. Luxury shoe and bags maker Tods restoration of the Colosseum financed with €25 million has made headlines world wide. The first phase of the work was completed in July.
