Italian airline Neos will operate a direct flight between Palermo and New York JFK from June 9, 2024. Neos offers the direct air flight between Sicily and the United States for the entire summer season. The new flight is operated by a 355-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, for 710 weekly seats. Two frequencies per week with flights departing from Italy every Tuesday and Sunday.

Every Monday the plane takes off at 17:00 from New York and will arrive in Palermo on Tuesday at 07:20. It departs Palermo at 11:25 a.m. and arrives in New York at 2:50 p.m. Every Saturday the plane takes off at 17:00 from New York and arrives in Palermo on Sunday at 07:20. It departs again at 11:25 a.m. for New York where it lands at 2:50 p.m.

Tickets can already be purchased at www.neosair.it for the Italian market and www.neosair.com for the American market, through Neos sales offices in New York.

Neos thus expands its network to North America, where since 2021 it has been present with 3 weekly flights on the New York - Milan Malpensa route and since last April with a Toronto - Milan Malpensa flight, registering good performances and playing a prominent role in the reference panorama.

With the aim of diversifying its business, the new flight will be used not only for passengers, but also for cargo, offering an availability of 10 tons per flight.
