Thank you, Richard. I am very pleased to be here today at what is widely considered the world's premier art fair.
For years, the Venice Biennale has attracted the most exciting artists of their time. For all participating countries, the Biennale is an opportunity to showcase the creativity and innovation of their countries. The fact that the importance and popularity of the Biennale has grown over the years to now include over 95 countries underscores the Biennale's importance and popularity around the world.
