The aerospace district in Puglia is experiencing significant growth, supported by the Polytechnic University of Bari and the BINP startup incubator, which hosts innovative companies like Astradyne. The latter has created an ultralight solar panel for the Cubesat satellite, which opens on its own thanks to a durable fabric substrate similar to that used for firefighter suits.
Despite having the same mass and volume as traditional solar panels, it generates twice the power. This is just one example of how the space sector in Puglia is evolving, with the region increasingly becoming a reference point for the aerospace industry at both the European and international levels.
