She's still got it. Gallery owner Rossana Orlandi, one of the key figures of today’s design scene, has been awarded the Compasso d'Oro, a recognition of the many accomplishments of her long career. ‘Rossana Orlandi is many things, but above all she is enthusiastic in her curiosity and passionate in the ways that she looks at things.
She has a gaze that doesn’t follow formulas or prejudices. She favours deep relationships over the ephemeral trends of the international market’, said the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale jury, which included Maria Porro, president of the Salone del Mobile in Milan; Luciano Galimberti, president of the ADI; and others.
