Supertuscan Sassicaia is the best red wine in Italy: the ranking based on the votes of the great wine guides

The legendary Sassicaia Supertuscan which since 1944 has written important pages of Tuscan enology, returns to the top of the rankings 100 best red wines of Italy drawn up by Gentleman magazine. The list is made by cross-referencing the evaluations of the five most important specialized guides in the sector: “Vitae” by the Italian Sommelier Association, “Vini dall'Italia” by Gambero Rosso, “I vini” by Veronelli, “Essential guide to wines from Italy” by Daniele Cernilli, and “Bibenda” by the Italian Sommelier Foundation.

For Bolgheri Sassicaia 2021 from Tenuta San Guido, in Tuscany, it is a return after having been at the top of the rankings for years.
