It is a historic day for Italian tennis. For the first time three Italian players simultaneously enter the Atp Top 20 ranking. In fact, Matteo Berrettini, world No. 14 (+2) and again Italy's No. 1, and Jannik Sinner (No. 16, -2) are joined by Lorenzo Musetti.
His United Cup successes earned him 60 points and, more importantly, four positions in the rankings, entering the world's top 20 players for the first time. Musetti, No. 19 this week, is the Top 20 player who has made the most conspicuous progress since the last week of 2022. Behind Berrettini, Sinner and Musetti are Lorenzo Sonego No. 44 (+1), Fabio Fognini No. 57 (-2) and Marco Cecchinato No. 93 (+8).
