The Verona street game project Tocatì was on Thursday added to UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage, ANSA sources said. The UN cultural body said "Tocatì, a shared programme for the safeguarding of traditional games and sports, is considered an exemplary practice for safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage".
The seventeenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is being hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat (Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses) from 28 November to 3 December 2022.
