Vincenzo Cerami, who died this July, was a novelist, an associate of Pier Paolo Pasolini, and the screenwriter for over 40 Italian films, including several starring Roberto Benigni. Among these are La Vita è Bella, Il Mostro, and La Tigre e la Neve.
