Sweetwaters, which began on Church Street in 1981, closed after business Labor Day weekend. Almost five months later, on Jan. 25, another Church Street eatery, Pascolo Ristorante, moved a block south into the spacious building that housed Sweetwaters.
Pascolo, part of The Farmhouse Group of Burlington-area restaurants, gains a considerable amount of room compared to the subterranean space it occupied since opening in 2014. Seating at the new Pascolo site at 120 Church St. can accommodate about 150 patrons, compared to 100 or so at the previous Pascolo spot at 83 Church St.
