The Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Marco Peronaci, concluded yesterday a visit to Chicago, Illinois, during which he accompanied Italy’s Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida.
On October 5th, Minister Lollobrigida and Ambassador Peronaci took part in the inauguration of Vinitaly USA, together with the President of the Italian Trade Agency, Matteo Zoppas; the Legal Adviser to Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Marco Rago; and the President of Veronafiere, Federico Bricolo. The delegation also attended an event in support of the candidature of Italian cuisine for UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
