Today, the American Italian Food Coalition (AIFC) donated hundreds of Italian chocolates, coffee, pasta, and other goods to two Philadelphia nursing homes – Little Sisters of the Poor and Ann’s Choice. The donation represents a token of gratitude to everyone who has stepped up to provide care for seniors during COVID-19.
“We are grateful for the incredible nurses, caregivers, and workers that are assisting and protecting seniors during these trying times,” said AIFC Chairman Lou Barletta. “As a proud Pennsylvanian, I am thankful every day for our local frontline heroes, and as the Chairman of the American Italian Food Coalition, I couldn’t be prouder to make this small donation as a symbol of thanks for all the work these frontline heroes do every day. Now, more than ever, we must take care of one another and stand strong as a community.”
