The round-the-world voyage of the Amerigo Vespucci ship has set sail from the port of Genoa, during which the sailing vessel of the Italian Navy will serve as an ambassador for Made in Italy. On board are 217 crew members and 126 trainees, including one Ukrainian trainee.
The project, initiated by Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, also involves the Prime Minister’s Office, the Minister for Civil Protection and Maritime Policies, the Minister for Sport and Youth, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Tourism.
