Few people would be willing to transform their retirement into a traveling cultural mission. Even fewer would do it driving a small van along the narrow, winding roads of rural Italy. But the protagonist of this story did exactly that.

Antonio LaCava, an Italian primary school teacher, now close to 80 years. He decided he wouldn't simply disconnect from education when he left the classroom. Instead, he transformed a simple  vehicle into a mobile library to bring books to... isolated communities of Basilicata, in southern Italy.
