On February 26–27, 2026, the Campania Region – through its Department of Tourism – will present a long-term promotional strategy for the U.S. market during a two-day program in New York City. The initiative is designed to strengthen Campania’s visibility among American travel professionals and institutional partners, reinforcing tourism flows between Italy and the United States.
The main event, titled “Destination Campania,” will take place on February 26 at the Hotel Seville Nomad Hyatt, located at 22 East 29th Street in Manhattan. A total of 15 Campania-based tourism suppliers will meet with selected U.S. buyers to develop new commercial partnerships and expand distribution channels.
At 5:00 PM, officials will introduce the region’s new promotional campaign, developed in partnership with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. The collaboration with three major U.S. carriers is expected to enhance connectivity and increase travel demand, particularly as the United States represents one of Italy’s top long-haul tourism markets. An aperitivo reception will follow at 5:30 PM, and the evening will conclude at 7:00 PM with “Praesentia,” a tasting dinner showcasing Campania’s food and wine excellence.
The program will continue on February 27 with a light lunch at 1:00 PM featuring a curated tasting of regional specialties. At 3:00 PM, representatives will present Cultura Campania, a new digital ecosystem designed to integrate culture and tourism promotion. Later sessions will include discussions on heritage tourism in collaboration with ITALEA – part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – and a meeting with Italian American associations to explore joint initiatives. Closing remarks are scheduled for 4:30 PM.
Through this structured 2-day format, Campania aims to position itself more competitively in a market that accounts for a significant share – over 20% – of Italy’s non-European tourism revenue.
