The Little Italy Neighborhood Association says the city is threatening to sue the organization. The LINA released a copy of the City’s letter written by a municipal attorney. It states, “I write to demand payment from the Little Italy Neighborhood Association for the outstanding $5,483.10 invoice for police security services provided during the 2017 Little Italy Festival.
If this payment is not received by April 3, 2018, the City may file suit to recover these costs.” The letter is dated March 20, 2018. It also includes an unsigned agreement between the LINA and the City which explains the Rochester Police Department would offer 80 man-hours at the price of $78.33 an hour.
