Oklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari is funding 400 COVID-19 test kits as well as protective equipment for the OKC-County Health Department, according to Royce Young of ESPN. Young notes that the department has recently partnered with a lab out of Texas to test high-risk individuals.
The 2019-20 NBA campaign was suspended earlier this month after Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. The league is on hiatus until further notice.
