Eataly CEO Nicola Farinetti to Be Honored at IACC Gala

We are excited to announce that Nicola Farinetti, CEO Eataly North America, is the 2019 recipient of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce's Business and Culture Award, which recognizes an individual or entity that has contributed to strengthening economic and cultural ties between Italy and the United States. This year's Business and Culture Award is generously presented by IACC member UniCredit.

In his role at the helm of the Eataly empire, Mr. Farinetti has been a driving force in bringing exceptional-quality Italian gourmet food products to the U.S. market and is responsible for fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of Italy's rich culinary tradition among American consumers. Mr. Farinetti helped bring the now-largest Italian marketplace in the world to the U.S.

Starting with N.Y.C. Flatiron in 2010, Chicago in 2013, N.Y.C. Downtown in August 2016, Boston in November 2016, Los Angeles in November 2017, and Las Vegas in December 2018, he created a unique culinary experience where eating, shopping and learning co-exist and celbrate Italian culture.
