I felt like Indiana Jones exploring the Etruscan tumulus treasure tomb found in 1882 in Vetulonia and three others in succession down a country lane in Vetulonia in Tuscany... and I am a fully grown adult!
On a warm June afternoon it was something wonderful to do in Maremma that had us all wondering what we would find next and got our heartbeats racing a little with apprehension - well mine and the children in our party anyway, I cannot say that the men would ever admit to it! - as we walked the length of each of the sunken dromoi and entered the dark rooms of the tombs....
