On any given week in Philadelphia, people with ties to Italy are doing business, leading companies, and working across law, finance, education, medicine, hospitality, design, technology and more. Many know one another socially. Some are connected through family, neighborhoods, cultural organizations or longstanding Italian-American institutions.
But professionally, those connections are often accidental. Filitalia International wants to make them more intentional. Founded in Philadelphia in 1987, Filitalia has long focused on preserving and promoting Italian culture, language, and heritage. Now it is adding another dimension to that work through a new Business Networking Committee designed to bring together people whose careers, interests or relationships connect Italy and the United States.
