Five years and an estimated 20 million euro investment to reconstruct Rome's iconic Colosseum: this is the announcement made by Italian Minister Franceschini regarding the most visited monument in Italy.
As reported by ANSA, the time-frame includes both studies and actual work, including the facade and floor area. An international competition for the contractor with the superintendent of archaeology developing terms for the competition will be held in the next month.
