Food Review | That’s ‘Amore!’

By: Julia McWilliams

It’s a sandwich, salad and coffee café drenched in Italian folklore. A small space with an abundance of personality. Take some time to read the extensive sandwich menu board. It’s entertainment itself. All the Sandwiches are named after characters from the Godfather movies, The Soprano’s T.V. series as well as the actors and directors.

I usually pick something from the “An Offer You Can’t Refuse,” menu. Some choices are “The Don Corleone,” of course, ”The Fat Clemenaz,” and “The Luca Brasi.” I ordered the “Sonny Corleone,” a fresh Italian roll (crusty on the outside and soft in the inside) with prosciutto, lettuce, tomato, and provolone cheese. It’s delicious and light. Not too heavy for lunch.
