Those who run the Mount Pleasant Glass Museum believe the best way to preserve history is to talk to people who have firsthand knowledge of it and then record it for future generations.
In the case of the three glass companies that once prospered in the Westmoreland County borough — Bryce, Lenox and L.E. Smith — those people include plant managers, operation managers, office workers and those who worked on the lines.
