The 8th Annual Benvenuto Americans of Italian Heritage Charity Bocce Tournament was held on March 18, with all proceeds benefitting Combat Veterans to Careers.
A total of 128 players participated at bocce courts at four different locations in The Villages with the finals being played and a delicious lunch served at Hibiscus Recreation Center. The winning team was The Hamptonites, made up of Kathleen Hoey, Fern Laviola, Camille Laviola and David Hoey.
